Condition: This work is in good condition. Some scattered stable craquelure across the painting with some further minor paint chips scattered across the work, all in line with the age of the painting. The canvas is slightly undulating and could benefit from being re-stretched. Upon closer inspection, one can notice a thin layer of dust - the work could further benefit from a surface cleaning. A restoration patch (noticeable on the reverse as well) in the lower right section and some further minor retouching can be noticed in the upper left under the UV light. Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, with the contrasts being softer and the hues and tonalities being bolder in the original work.
