Condition

Condition: i) This work is in very good condition. Some pinhole-sized nail holes across the four edges of the canvas, most probably inherent to the artist's choice of framing. No signs of restoration under UV light. ii) This work is in very good condition. Upon closer inspection, there is some very thin, hairline craquelure to the upper left section. Some pinhole-sized nail holes across the four edges of the canvas, most probably inherent to the artist's choice of framing. The canvas is well-stretched. No signs of restoration under UV light. Colour: i) The catalogue illustration is accurate; however, the blues are more subdued and less bright in the original work. ii) The colours in the catalogue illustration are accurate, with the overall blacks being more vivid and intense in the original work.
