Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are small areas of fine craquelure in the beach, in the thick impasto closer to the lower edge. With the exception of some small spots of retouching in the sky, some of which have somewhat discoloured in time and are also visible upon close inspection, this work appears to be in good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
