Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There is a pattern of drying craquelure throughout, as visible in the catalogue illustration, and stretcher marks corresponding to the two vertical stretcher members are visible. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals an even layer of residual varnish and no visible sign of retouching. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
