Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals some isolated spots of retouching in the background, including some strokes along the right framing edge, one spot to the right of the pillar closer to the left framing edge and some small spots in the centre of the upper framing edge. The main composition appears to be untouched. Overall, this work is in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
