Condition
The canvas has not been lined and is securely attached to what appears to be its original stretcher. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals some fine strokes of retouching in the upper part of the extreme left framing edge, and some scattered, pin-head sized spots in the sky, including some in-painting in the upper left corner addressing a fine line of craquelure. The main composition appears to be untouched. This work is in overall good condition and is ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame, glazed.
