The canvas has not been lined. There are some isolated fine lines of craquelure, notably in the lower left quadrant and a small area of paint lifting, which could benefit from some consolidation, is visible in the upper left quadrant to the left of the open door. Ultra-violet light reveals extensive areas of green fluorescence which can be associated to the white pigments used by the artist rather than to retouching. The painting surface appears very dry and could benefit from re-varnishing. Overall, this work is in good condition. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a nameplate.
