Condition

The canvas has not been lined. There is a fine pattern of hairline craquelure throughout, mainly visible upon close inspection and not distracting to the naked eye. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals some finely applied lines of in-painting in the aforementioned craquelure, notably in the sky. The main composition appears to be untouched. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Presented in a Paul Gehring decorative gilt frame.
