Condition
The canvas has been lined. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals a circa 18cm L-shaped stroke of retouching in the foliage of the trees in the lower centre of the composition possibly addressing an old tear, clusters of small strokes of cosmetic retouching in the sky, and one small spot in the upper right corner. Otherwise, this work presents well and is in overall good condition.
Presented in a simple wooden frame.
Colours are deeper and less yellow than in the catalogue illustration.
