- signed: B. BOSCHETTI / ROMA
- bronze, brown patina
- 62 cm., 24 3/8 in.
Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The figure would have held a now-lost jug in the proper right hand, and there is a small hole at the proper right forearm where it would have been attached. There is also a loss to the attribute in the proper left arm. There is some minor greening to the base around the proper left foot and to the proper left shin. The arms are cast separately, and original joints and casting plugs are slightly visible. There is minor dark staining in areas, including around the chest.
