Overall, the condition of the bronze is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is wear to the patina in areas, in particular to the top of the base around the breasts, where the patina has slightly flaked. There is some rubbing to the patina at the high points of the hair. There are flecks of dirt and minor areas of oxidisation to the surface, in particular to the front of the bust and to the proper right cheek. There are a few plugs, including to the proper right cheek and to the proper left upper arm. There is a small dent to the edge of the base at the front, below the proper right breast.
