Description

  • Three pairs of candelsticks
  • brass, lacquered brass
  • 53, 52 and 21cm., 20¾, 20½ and 8¼in.
  • Manufactured circa 1900-1920.
comprising a pair with waisted cast bobbin decoration, a pair with columnar and knopped stems and a small pair of George III style candlesticks with ejectors

Condition

Decorative. With signs of wear from age and use and residual wax. Old marks and scratches throughout. Each pair with prangs/dents to base. The second pair (with columnar and knopped stems) with verdigris splash-mark to base. The small pair with loss to one ejector. Both pairs clogged with wax.
