Condition

Overall very good condition. All three shades with a nice original red enameling on the exterior and with gilt interior. There are minor scuffs, nicks and rubbing throughout, which is consistent with age and gentle use. There is very minor and scattered professional touch up at edges of shade rims that are nearly seamless. The bottom shade with marked scuffing and light horizontal scratching exposing base metal. The middle shade with 2-3 nicks exposing base metal and largest/top shade with a few scattered scuffs. The hanging system is not gilt. A popular Henningsen design that casts a warm downwards glow and presenting well overall. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
