Condition

Overall very good condition. There is some minor wear to mirroring around the light sockets. Each small circular socket with a white plastic perimeter. The dark blue enameling appears original. There is minor pitting to the enameled surface and scattered light surface wear, as is very common with age and partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The reverse with a shallow dent and some enamel loss to the upper back edge, not visible when hung on a wall. There are two arteluce decal labels on the reverse. The sphere or circle shape is a highly characteristic design element in Sarfatti lighting and this rare model combines both this distinguishing form with an exceptional thoughtfulness of function.
