Condition

Overall very good condition, consistent with age. The steel structure is in solid condition, presenting with minor, scattered pitting and minor scuffs to edges as is expected with chairs of this age. The chairs retain the original canvas lining with some minor areas of spotty discoloration. On one seat, the roping unravelling slightly at the very last hook. There are four original leather cushions (2 seat, 2 back) presenting with a nice patina. One chair with pronounced rubbing and gentle wear to the proper right upper corner of the back cushion and proper right lower corner of the seat cushion. The other chair with marked wear to the highest relief areas of the back cushion, exhibiting 2 areas of separation and five areas of cracking. This is common with leather of this age, but might benefit from professional attention prior to use. There is slight darkening to the leather of the left chair in the catalogue illustration. Each chair is accompanied by 2 wall brackets. A rare model by Kjaerholm, the wall mounted chairs exhibit characteristic metal and leather combination in a sleek and creative form.
