Condition
Overall very good condition, consistent with age and gentle use. The upholstery is recently replaced and in very good, clean condition. The wool upholstery with an eggshell hue with subtle grey/beige inflections which is difficult to discern in the catalogue image. The reverse of the settee with a faint horizontal line on the upholstery, likely having rested against a wall or table. The arms and legs are a saturated and slightly dark teak hue which is complimented nicely by the white upholstery. The wood surfaces present with faint minor rubbing, nicks and scattered minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use, largely concentrated to the upper portions of the legs where the upholstery has been reattached. A rare settee that is more commonly seen in the armchair form, the sofa displays characteristic Wegner legs and a sculptural form.
