Movement running at the time of cataloguing. The dial and hands in very good condition. Case with scuffs and scratches throughout, small amount of denting to the band and scratches tot he bezel. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping. Reference 1593 was launched in 1944. The case of this watch was made by Markowski, makers also of the 'Top-Hat' reference 1450, and recognised as one of the finest case makers in Geneva.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
