• gilt full plate movement, verge escapement, plain three-armed balance, engraved balance cock, diamond endstone • signed and numbered gilt cuvette • white enamel dial, Arabic numerals • gold case, both bezels and pendant set with seed pearls, back with translucent pale blue enamel over an engine-turned ground surrounded by a band of dark blue translucent enamel over herringbone patterned engraving • cuvette signed Jonas Crofsley, Manchester, No. 9186, hallmarked for London 1796

Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing. Dial with some small scratches. The enamel to the case back with a scratches, chips to the centre, edge and outer bands. The watch has not been tested to determine the accuracy of its timekeeping.
