Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on September 8th 2009, booklets, presentation case.

Originally launched in platinum in 2007, the reference 5098 was made available in pink gold in 2009. The elegance of the piece is directly inspired by the Gondolo wristwatches produced in the early 1920's.

The name Gondolo was registered in 1902 and refers to the legendary Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau that represented Patek Philippe from around 1872.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
