Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, booklets, presentation case and outer packaging.

The reference 5153G was produced in a limited edition of 80 pieces which were especially created for the Patek Philippe London Grand Exhibition. These exclusive pieces were only available at the London Patek Philippe boutique for long-established clients.  This special edition is characterized by its attractive silvered dial with applied black Breguet numerals as opposed to the normal dagger indexes and sunburst guilloché centre to the dial. This special dial is a modern interpretation of the traditional pieces from the beginning of the 20th century, perfectly complimenting the classic officer-style case.

It is the first time that an example of this limited edition appears on the auction market.

The present lot is in immaculate, unworn condition and still preserved in its double sealed factory packaging.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
