Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on September 11th 1944 and presentation case.

The reference 1471 was produced from 1940 for about ten years. The present "pink on pink" example, preserved until today by the family of the original owner in France, was bought in September 1944 during the allied liberation of the country. Further to this, this lot is accompanied by its original presentation case and Certificate of Origin. Only about 10 examples of the 1471 in pink gold are known to have come to the market.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time this watch has been presented at auction.
