Catalogue Note

With a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale on December 29th 1955.

The reference 2499 was only produced from 1948 to 1954, the present lot is thus one of the very last manufactured. Less than 250 "monobloc" cases in yellow gold were produced by Emile Vichet. The silvered dials with hard enamel were made by Stern Frères.
