Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, Attestation stating only 450 pieces made, instruction booklet, literature, medal, and anniversary presentation case.

In 2014, Patek Philippe, the most renowned Swiss manufacturer, celebrated its 175th anniversary. In celebration of this they produced several different limited editions. The World Time model is one of the signature pieces produced by the brand and it is no surprise they decided to release a special edition of this watch.

The lady’s reference 7175, produced in only 450 pieces, against 1,300 examples for the men’s version, is a reinterpretation of the traditional piece, it combines world time and moon-phase complications. To accommodate this, Patek Philippe upgraded the automatic calibre 240 HU to 240 HU LU. The disk, beautifully depicting the moon, rotates between the starry sky background and a heart-shaped mask. The spirit of the dial is complimented by the special hour hand in the shape of a star. Housed in a pink gold and diamond-set case with elegant lugs, this rare watch is undoubtedly one of the most feminine and enchanting pieces created by Patek Philippe in recent years.

This is the first time that this reference has ever been presented at auction and it is in immaculate, unused condition.
