Condition
The boards of each work appear sound, with the exception of the Figure with Peas wherein there is some very fine vertical cracks in line with the grain of the wood. In places there are some very fine lines of scattered craquelure, with some resultant very small flecks of loss to the works in places, which are most apparent in the green tones in the Figure with Peas. There is some light surface dirt and studio matter apparent in each work. There are some very minor instances of frame abrasion in one or two places.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or restoration.
The works are each presented in simple painted wooden frames.
