claw-set with an oval ruby, the shoulders set with single-cut diamonds, one diamond deficient.

Condition

Accompanied by GCS report no. 77113-75, stating that the ruby was found to be of Burmese origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Ruby pinkish-red, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the under magnification, some surface-reaching, some chips and wear to facet edges, measuring approximately 7 x 6.5 x 4.3mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.41 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, one diamond deficient. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.10 - 0.20 carats. Light scratches to stone and metal surfaces consistent with wear. In good condition. Fitted box.
