Description

  • each diameter approximately 17mm
each set with a bouton pearl measuring approximately 11.7 x 11.9 x 9.8mm and 12.8 x 13.3 x 10.9mm respectively, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, screw fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report number 11344, dated 22nd May 2015, stating that both pearls were found to be natural saltwater and that one pearl has a worked base Backs of screw fittings stamped 9ct for 9 carat gold. Pearls measuring approximately 11.7 x 11.9 x 9.8mm and 12.8 x 13.3 x 10.9mm respectively. Body colours white with rose and green overtones and the larger pearl greyish-white with predominantly white overtones, both with good lustre. Larger pearl slightly irregular in shape. Both with pitting and blemishes, surface scratches and other minor surface imperfections to nacre on both pearls, larger pearl with yellowing to edges, smaller pearl with light banding towards base. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.40 - 1.60 carats. Screw backs in good working order. Overall in good condition.
