Condition

Unexamined out of the frame. The sheet is very slightly undulating in places. There are some slight spots of staining to some of the green pigments. There are one or two very faint spots of possible foxing. There are some minor instances of studio detritus and matter. Subject to the above the work is in overall good condition. Catalogue Note

Michael Warre was a painter, actor, producer, writer and designer, and alongside exhibitions at London's prestigious Leicester Galleries, he also starred in Olivier's 1944 film Henry V, as the Duke of Gloucester.
