Condition
The canvas appears to be original, and undulates slightly in the lower left corner. There is a pattern of craquelure which runs through much of the painting, some of which may have been lightly consolidated. There is one tiny loss towards the left edge in the upper left quadrant. There is some minor surface dirt throughout with some occasional instances of studio matter. Subject to the above the work is in overall good condition.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals some restoration through the fence in the middle of the picture.
The work is presented in a carved and moulded wooden frame.
