Condition
Canvas has not been lined. Some localised areas of very fine craquelure to the beach and to the blouse and hat of the woman lower right. Otherwise the work is in good original condition with rich passages of impasto. There is some dirt to the paint surface and the work may benefit from a light clean.
UV light inspection reveals some spots of retouching in the sky, to the seated figure in the lower right, and some further touches elsewhere.
