Condition
Original canvas. There is a small 1cm vertical abrasion with corresponding paint loss near centre of right edge, just to the right of the bottom of the larger tree trunk. Oherwise the work appears in good overall condition with passages of impasto.
Under ultraviolet light, there may be a few minor flecks of retouching along the extreme upper and lower edges.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
