Purchased by James Giles Anton as a gift for his wife Mary and thence by descent to the present owner

Condition

The sheet has been laid down on a thin board, likely by the artist. The board is slightly bowed. There is some time staining to the mounting edges. The colours appear strong and the work in generally good condition. Held in a gilt frame, with some losses, and under glass. Please note that the work has been examined out of its frame.
