Condition

Of imposing presence, this bureau is in reasonable condition, with overall marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and faint traces of old woodworm, which appears to be no longer active. Traces of old repairs to cracks. One noticeable loss to veneer of top frieze on the right end, as per catalogue photograph. Both sides with one vertical cracks that has been repaired but is now in need of some attention. Light damage to feet, including one secure crack to front-right one.
