Condition

Overall the condition of the bronzes is good, with some wear and dirt to the surfaces consistent with age. There are losses to one of the women's tambourine, while the other woman may also have had an attribute in her proper left hand which is now lost. There is wear to the lacquer patina, including rubbing at the high points. There are a few minor casting flaws such as small lacunae and fissures. There is minor warping to the figures' hands. There is some wear to the onyx bases, including several small chips and abrasions, as well as some minor open inclusions.
