Description

  • Softwood, lacquer
the cartouche-shaped backrest decorated with flowers and foliage, the volute armrests on volute supports, the padded back and seat à chassis above a serpentine seat rail and cabriole legs; upholstered with pale green silk velvet

Condition

Re-blocked, decoration refreshed but maintaining large areas of original decoration and displaying nice cracquelure. One with broken and repaired rear-left leg; old restorations. Traces of old woodworm, no longer active. Please not that the measurements for each armchair are: 97cm. high, 67cm. wide, 59cm. deep.
