Condition

This impressive and finely carved mirror, of great proportions, is in overall good condition. There are marks, scratches and minor chips overall, consistent with age and use, as well as some visible construction cracks and some wear to the gilt surface, which would benefit from a light cleaning. Some repairs, most notably to the carved apron, which also displays on its left side an incipient break in need of professional attention. The original mirrored glass with extensive foxing and losses to silvering.
