Condition

The canvas is lined, the paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is clear and only slightly discoloured. There are three vertical lines of surface abrasion lower centre, measuring approx. 30 cm. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals areas of unobtrusive retouching throughout, but no major damages, and nothing which impedes the readability of the image. In overall very good condition for a canvas of this size.
