Condition
The canvas is lined, the paint surface is relatively clean and the varnish is slightly discoloured. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals beneath the opaque, milky varnish small, minor retouchings scattered in the foliage and sky, and strengthening to the standing shepherd's cloak. In overall good condition. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition.
