Description

modelled as a young man and woman seated about a tree stump, he playing the lute, his companion with a hurdy gurdy on her lap, a boy standing behind them playing with a begging dog at his side, raised on a rockwork base,

Condition

The male figure, with restoration to hands and each leg below knee breeches and shoes, the top of lute restored and broken. The female figure with right arm restored, left side of hurdy gurde and some restoration and losses to the bows on her bodice. The boy with loss to the top half of stick in his right hand. Restoration to top of tree stump and to base. Small chips to leaves on tree stump and on base.
