Description

  • Walnut, upholstery
each with a cartouche-shaped padded back above down-scrolled arms and serpentine padded seat, the moulded frame carved with foliage and rocaille, on cabriole legs

Condition

In good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and traces of old woodworm, which appears to be no longer active. The later velvet upholstery in good condition, showing some signs of wear. Some chips and dents to the carving have been sympathetically restored. One armchair with rear-right leg broken and repaired. Please note that these armchairs measure: 109cm. high, 66cm. wide, 54cm. deep; the seat: 47cm. high.
