In overall good condition. The canvas is lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals retouching along all four margins, particularly the upper margin and upper left and right. There are also spot retouchings scattered throughout the sky, but seemingly little intervention to the lower half of the picture. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in very good condition.
