Condition

A decorative piece in need of some attention and in country house condition, with overall marks and scratches. There are traces of old woodworm, which appears to be no longer active. Part re-varnished, with overall restorations to the associated carved acanthus brackets and supports, and construction cracks visible in the catalogue photograph. Extensive chips and minor losses to carving. One later foot broken and repaired.
