Description

  • Silver, Electroplate
engraved with two crests above the inscription: Presented with Candelabra and Candlesticks to The Hon. Charles J.R.H. Stuart Forbes Trefusis, by the Unionists of Kincardineshire, to mark their admiration of his splendid services to the Unionist Cause at the Contested Election, 1895, wooden lined, 23.1cm., 9in. long; together with a silver hipflask, Birmingham, 1925, 12.1cm., 4 3/3 in. high; a Victorian silver spirit lamp/lighter, London, 1896, in the form of a lamp with serpent handle, 6.4cm., 2 1/2 in. high; a silver double measure, Birmingham, 1945, 9.4cm., 3 3/4 in. high; a Sheffield Plate wine funnel, circa 1800, and an electroplate mounted cut-glass hipflask (6)

Condition

All in good order except wine funnel which is heavily damaged and repaired.
