Condition
The canvas has a firm relining and a dirty paint surface with a discoloured varnish. There are scattered discoloured retouchings throughout the sky to reduce the appearance of the craquelure. Inspection under ultra violet light confirms these, and reveals some further minor scattered retouchings, but no major damages. In overall fair condition.
Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with some losses.
