Condition
The board is slightly bowed in the lower portion. There is some abrasion to the edges, however, this is hidden behind the recess of the slip mount. There is a vertical scratch along the left hand framing edge visible in the lower left hand quadrant. There is a horizontal scratch to the lower framing edge approximately 4cm in length. There are some isolated areas of fine craquelure visible to the darker pigments. Some light surface dirt.
UV light inspection reveals no evidence of any retouching or restoration.
Held in a decorative gilt frame and slip.
