Condition

The board is uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. The original impasto and delicate washes are very well-preserved. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a scattering of sensitively-executed, minor retouchings throughout, the most notable of which is in the edge of the brown rocks, upper left. In overall very good condition, requiring no further work.
