the lobed pear-shaped body with flat back rising from a short foot and set at the lower body with a moulded mask spigot, brightly enamelled and gilt with a rectangular panel enclosing birds perched on prunus branches, all within diaper and panelled borders
Condition
The cistern has a large repaired break to the neck, loss to the top of the flat back, the cover is missing, minor fritting and minor loss of the blue enamel.
