seated on a tall pedestal rockwork base, wearing long flowing robes and playing a lute, flanked at the base by a pair of attendants; together with a Dehua figure of Budai, Qing dynasty, 19th Century (2)

Condition
The Guanyin figure has loss to the head and hands of one attendant, loss to the end of the flute of the other attendant, loss to the tips of the fingers on the right hand of Guanyin, and loss to one of the ears on the lute. Budai has loss to the tips of four fingers, a 4cm., wide chip to the rear of the carpet base together with an associated 4cm., hairline crack. and two small areas of glaze misfire to the rear shoulders.
