square, reeded engine-turned, the lid applied with a stylised two-colour gold Tudor rose embellished with sapphires, raised sapphire-set thumbpiece, interior of lid with mirror, maker's mark and London hallmarks, stamped: Asprey London, incuse letter K and engraved: Desr Porteous Wood
