Description

  • Silver, Steel, Leather, Wood,
the mounts embellished with conjoined thistles, the handle carved with Celtic ornament, removable knife and fork from hilt, all three with steel blades, 46.4cm., 18 1/4 in. long, together with a Victorian silver mounted a military cartouche pouch and belt, Edward Thurkle, London, 1885, the box with applied monogram, the belt of satin silk and red leather, foliate engraved buckles and terminals; two chromium-plated riding spurs, a leather scabbard and three assorted steel long-sword scabbards

Condition

The dirk in good order, a couple of very minor splits to the handle. The belt also in good order; one miniature arrow hilt missing meaning one hangs loose. The sword hilts are very rusted.
