Description

comprising a pair of Leeds-type pierced hexagonal vases, late 19th century, pierced with geometric and foliate panels between leaf moulding, the flared hexagonal bases pierced with stylised flowers, 17cm., 6 3/4 in. high; two Leeds-type pierced candlesticks of square sections, 25.5cm., 10in. high, impressed LEEDS POTTERY marks to all pieces; a set of four Bishop and Stonier cream-coloured earthenware candlesticks, of square section moulded with panels of flowers and leafy swags, black printed marks, 21cm., 8 1/4 in. high; and two pairs of continental white glazed earthenware reticulated baskets, the larger pair with impressed numbers, the largest pair 10cm., 4in. high (12)
Condition
One Leeds-type candlestick with small glaze chips to corners of sconce and base, otherwise in good condition.
Each of the Bishop and Stonier candlesticks has a drilled hole through base, one with glued repair to base.
